The concession stand will not be open for students to buy additional snacks and no outside food is allowed. The Gifted and Talented program is designed to meet the needs of traditionally defined gifted students. Students selected for the G/T program demonstrate above average ability, task commitment, and creativity. The district criteria for screening for the Gifted and Talented program are based on: • Parent or teacher nomination • Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) Achievement Test or Logramos • Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) • Parent rating scale and questionnaire • Teacher rating scale (by Joseph Renzulli and Robert K. Hartman) If your child has already been identified as part of the Gifted and Talented program, he/she will not need further screening.
